WHITE REINDEER played to a packed house on June 23 at BAMCinemaFest in Brooklyn– what fun to watch the film near home. The film continues to get wonderful reviews. And as a bonus, I got to hang out with Nate Williams, fellow film cast member and high school theater buddy! The world is very small.
I am thrilled to announce that WHITE REINDEER will premiere in March at SXSW! I am so excited to see what I am positive will be an incredible third film by Zach Clark, with whom I worked on his first film, MODERN LOVE IS AUTOMATIC. This time around I got to play an over-the-top funloving cokehead strip club bartender in this wonderfully strange and touching dark comedy. Many congratulations to the producers, cast, and crew! No official stills yet, but here is one of my favorite behind-the-scenes pics:
I grew up in Columbus, Ohio, but part of my family is from the southeastern part of the state– and one of the local city newspapers there heard about the recent premiere of ME, YOU AND THE ROAD and wanted to do a piece on my career.
Meanwhile, I’m deep in rehearsals for both THE SCREWTAPE LETTERS which opens in December in DC and LOUD AND CLEAR: A COLLECTION OF STORIES which opens in January in NYC with Broken Box Mime Theater. I’m excited to share my work– stay tuned for more information about how to see these performances!
